Testing:
This unit was tested extensively using the materials we had on hand. All the solvent pumps were tested with DI water and (A, B, C, D). The sample manager was tested by taking samples of sugar water from 2mL vials in various placements on the carousels. After a dry prime (initiated from the machine screen) and equilibration these samples were then run through a column with 3um particles and then the PDA. The results from the tests using sugar water were very consistent with several peaks in the UV range across multiple samples (see pictures). All proportioning valves, syringe, injectors, etc. are tested.
